last night we held our first of many family movie nights.  you get 3 guesses what the inaugural movie was and the first 2 don't count.  click here for a hint.  ding, ding, ding…toy story 3.  the showing was held complete with popcorn, favorite blankies, and front row seats for buzz, woody, bullseye, jessie and mr. potato head.

jessie and bullseye got a little extra love during the movie…

during the really exciting parts of the movie she had to get reaaaallll close to the tv as to not miss a thing….

what a fun night!  at one point, adali snuggled up next to me (i was the big spoon and she was the little spoon) and i couldn't help but tear up a little.  this is what life is about…being together and making fun times out of the little things.  the movie did not disappoint either.  adali surprised me and stayed awake for the entire thing.  when the credits were rolling and her little giggles filled the room from the outtakes,  adali looked over at us clapped and said "that was a gooood new novie!"  and in typical adali fashion, she asked to watch it again.

what should our next showing be?

much love,

We LOVE that movie! The kids are getting it for Christmas :-) As for a next showing… kids really like the alvin and the chipmunks movies (a lot of adults don’t though). My girls LOVED princess and the frog too! Hope that gives you some ideas!

  3. Sandy says:

We did the exact same thing Sunday night….same movie! I agree with Sonya….Alvin and the Chipmunks is good.

  4. Aunt Lindsey says:

How many times have you had to watch it since then?

  5. Mandy says:

We actually took Nolan to the theater to see it and he LOVED it! Of course, I teared up just watching it! Great pictures, Jamie…I love the one of her up close & personal to the TV and the silhoutte of her ringlets! Precious.
