so last night was the night.  finally.  since i picked up adali's costume a few months ago she has been asking when it is time to go trick or treating…i'm talking every day for the last few months.  finally, yesterday, i got to tell her that yes tonight we get to go trick or treating.  unfortunately for me that was at 8 in the morning meaning that every 30 minutes after that she asked me if it was time yet.

she was that excited.

our neighbor kindly invited adali to ride in the back of his little wagon and be pulled around the neighborhood along with the other kids.  now this is the way to trick or treat.

she was a little apprehensive at first but after the first few houses she was right there with the other kids loving every single minute of it.

i think she loved the wagon ride as much as the actual trick or treating.

Halloween 2010-69

everyone in the neighborhood gets together for a little bonfire before and after the trick or treating.  it was a lot of fun to get to meet many of our neighbors and adali loved watching all of the older kids goof around.

once we were home, adali was wired and wanted to check out every little piece of candy she had gotten.

i'm sure she went to bed dreaming of sugar fairies.

much love,
